Ayurveda, the “ Science of life”, or longevity is the holistic alternative science more than 5,000 years old. It is believed to be the oldest health care medicinal system in world. It is complete herbal based therapy by combining organoleptic empirical medicine with religious rituals perspectives, Ayurveda is a complete medical system. It deals with health in all its aspects, physical, mental balance, spiritual well being, diet and lifestyle, social welfare, environmental consideration, daily living trends and treating and managing specific diseases.
Dhanwantari is the father of Ayurveda who classified the clinical knowledge of Ayurveda. The science is based on the “Tridosha theory of disease”. Tridoshas maintain the integrity of whole body. Ayurveda treat man as whole body, mind and soul.
